Marcy is the Instructional Design Manager for the Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education (AdvancED) at Vanderbilt University. Marcy leads the instructional design team, overseeing the development of new online programs, certificates, and microcredentials. She also plays a key role in Vanderbilt’s generative AI initiatives, developing teaching resources for faculty and leading content development for the university’s generative AI website. Prior to joining AdvancED, she worked for the Writing and Learning Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds a Ph.D. in English from UNC-Chapel Hill.
