Alison Robinson is the Associate Vice President for Information Technology and Deputy Chief Information Officer at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She directs campus operations for Information Technology Services (ITS) and leads the division’s effort to develop a top-tier technology service delivery model for Cal Poly. Robinson’s extensive technical background and in-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services are crucial to the university’s cloud transformation endeavors. She has more than 25 years of higher education, information technology, and leadership expertise. She excels at modernizing IT organizations and gained her career experiences at the University of Maryland, the University of South Florida, and the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and her current role at Cal Poly.
